Neha Kakkar, Shehnaaz Gill, Rubina Dilaik and several others join Slice® to salute India’s unsung COVID heroes

To celebrate the stories of people who stepped forward to help the nation during these trying times, beverage brand Slice® has unveiled the ‘Aam Nahi Khaas Ho Tum’ campaign.  Their selfless acts helped many – whether it was by amplifying resources, raising funds, or even providing transportation to those in need.

Celebrities and social media stars such as Neha Kakkar, Shehnaaz Gill, Rubina Dilaik, and Dheeraj Dhoopar have joined hands with Slice® to pay tribute to the unsung heroes who tirelessly worked towards relief efforts during the second wave.
The #AamNahiKhaasHoTum campaign was kickstarted on social media by chartbusting singing sensation Neha Kakkar. Each of the celebrities shared anecdotes – whether it was Shehnaaz’s bebe (grandmom) calling in to check on her during Covid or Rubina’s quarantine stories with sister Jyotika – and encouraged their #InstaFams to join the conversation and celebrate the stories of ordinary citizens from across the nation who selflessly stepped forward to help each other and their communities.

Each of them also showcased the interactive AR filter launched by Slice® that lets consumers scan the Slice® logo, to reveal the inspiring stories of these ‘Khaas’ citizens. The consumers can use this filter to scan the Slice logo anywhere – on the bottle, on a billboard, or anywhere in the virtual world,  changing into a tribute for these COVID heroes.
Slice for the first time, also launched an emotional and impactful ode to celebrate the selfless acts of these unsung heroes who tirelessly worked towards helping each other in their limited capacity during the second wave of the pandemic. Celebrity actor – writer, Piyush Mehra, has been specially roped in to lend his powerful voice to this tribute.
