‘Yeh Dil Maange More’-  Sidharth Malhotra’s ‘Shershaah’ wins a special jury award at the 69th National Film Awards

The critically and commercially acclaimed film “Shershaah,” starring Sidharth Malhotra, proves its mettle once again, adding to the list of many accolades.

The 69th National Film Awards 2023 winners were revealed, where “Shershaah” received a Special Jury Award.

Shershaah,” considered as one of the finest films in 2021 is also known for Sidharth Malhotra’s outstanding performance. The movie narrated the story of late Army officer Vikram Batra, a martyr of the 1999 Kargil War. The cast included Kiara Advani, Shiv Pandit, Nikitin Dheer, and more.

Expressing his gratitude, Sidharth Malhotra wrote on Instagram, “#Shershaah is a special film for me. I’m honoured and humbled as it becomes my first film to win a National Award. ‘Shershaah,’ directed by Vishnuvardhan, is a biographical war drama that narrates the real-life story of Captain Vikram Batra, a fearless soldier who made the ultimate sacrifice for his nation during the Kargil War. The film takes us through the life journey of this braveheart, from his humble beginnings toc his heroic actions on the battlefield.
