“Tamil Rockers” actor Arun Vijay reacted against piracy of films

Movie piracy is a big problem. Recently this topic has also been raised in the web show “Tamil Rockers” which came on Sony Liv. The role of a police officer in the show, dubbed in Hindi, is played by Tamil actor Arun Vijay. Earlier, Arun, who was made seen in the film ‘Saaho”, made his debut in the world of web series with this series. Actor Arun has a special conversation with a media channel. Let us know some excerpts from that conversation.

Regarding joining the show, Arun says, “We all know how the industry is troubled by piracy. I liked this concept. I thought people should be told about it. How the film is made with hard work and struggle and what happens due to piracy. I am playing the role of police officer Rudra in this show. The interesting thing is how does get to the root of the matter even though he is not interested in films. A lot of research has been done about the show. I am sure anyone who has watched the show will stop watching movies on piracy websites after that.

The audience has many options. As actors, we need to be more responsible while making films. This is going on in our minds too. I am focusing a lot on my films because now a lot of content in different languages is available on OTT. Now real-life content is being liked. I am glad that the audience has expectations from us. We have to be more responsible.
