Namrata Lodaya To Represent India At Cannes 2026 With Transformative Performance Art Concept ‘The Inner Red Carpet’

Mumbai-based Self-Authenticity Facilitator and living minimalist performance artist Namrata Vishal Lodaya is all set to represent India at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival with her unique live performance art concept titled ‘The Inner Red Carpet’. She will attend the global festival through an association with Haute Monde MIWW.

With more than 26 years of experience in mentoring individuals through intentional art practices, Namrata’s work focuses on helping people reconnect with themselves through creativity, emotional awareness, and self-expression. Her artistic journey also carries forward the vision of her late husband Vishal, whose dream was to spread the values of authenticity, love, and gratitude through storytelling and screenplay writing.

Blending storytelling, healing, emotion, and human connection, The Inner Red Carpet is designed as a living performance installation that encourages audiences to reflect on their authentic selves. At the heart of the concept lies a thought-provoking question: “Have you ever walked on your Inner Red Carpet?”

During the festival, Namrata will engage with audiences in real time, creating immersive experiences centred around introspection, emotional honesty, and self-awareness.

Speaking about her Cannes debut, Namrata Vishal Lodaya said, “For me, Cannes is not just about walking a red carpet, it is about starting a conversation around authenticity and human emotion. Through ‘The Inner Red Carpet’, I hope people pause for a moment and truly connect with themselves.”

Her participation at Cannes 2026 marks a significant milestone as she takes an emotionally driven artistic concept from India to one of the world’s most celebrated global platforms.
