In a significant achievement for independent Indian cinema,“The Rise of Parveen Hooda”has been officially selected at the prestigious Caravan International Film Festival for its February–April 2026 season. The documentary has also received an Honorable Mention, marking a proud moment for the filmmakers and the Indian storytelling community.

Directed by Avantika Meattle, the film traces the inspiring journey of Indian boxer Parveen Hooda.
