Sony Entertainment Television’s homegrown kids singing reality show, Superstar Singer 2 has charmed its way into the audience’s hearts with a spectacular display of India’s young singing talent. And, the contestant a.k.a the ‘Best Bache Ever’ are all geared up to impress everybody with their melodious voices as the show steps into the semi-finale special this weekend! Making the upcoming weekend episodes extra special will be Bollywood’s most adored jodi of the 90s – Govinda and Satish Kaushik ji this Saturday, while on Sunday the show will celebrate the iconic songs of the 90’s in the ‘90’s song of 90s’ special episode.
Emotional as the show is almost reaching the finishing line, contestant Sayisha Gupta from Mohali who is known to get sashes for all the judges and special guests who come on show will be seen gifting sashes to all her co-contestants. She will be seen expressing her feelings on how all the parents and guardians have become her family and how each and every contestant is like a brother and sister to her. She will surprise everyone with quirky titles. Sayisha will also be seen giving an incredible performance on 90s ever-green songs such as ‘Baazigar oh baazigar’, ‘Dheere dheere pyaar ko’ and ‘Dekha hai pehli baar sajan ke ankhon mein pyar’.
Watching the cute performance of Sayisha, judge Alka Yagnik will remember her childhood and will go to share that, “Sayisha’s voice is so sweet that I can listen to her all day. Her performance is so cute that even her mistakes seem to be cute. Just like she was looking at her mother while performing to gain a sense of reassurance I was taken back to my childhood days . I remember while performing, I would sing one line and look at my mother to be assured that I am singing it right. Seeing this whole act my whole childhood was flashed in front of me, as if my mother is sitting there in the audience and I am singing on the stage.”
