Sony Entertainment Television’s prestigious singing reality show ‘Indian Idol – Season 13’ will be welcoming the evergreen actress Meenakshi Seshadri ji on Saturday. What’s special? Meenakshi Ji will be seen marking her television debut with the singing reality show after 27 years! Not only this, the defining extravagance and nostalgia, for the first time ever, the Sunday episode of the show will be celebrating ’75 years of Rajshri Productions’ in the presence the most revered and respected director of the Hindi entertainment industry – Sooraj Barjatya ji followed by the cast of ‘Uunchai’ – Boman Irani, Neena Gupta and Anupam Kher!
Meenakshi ji who enjoyed being a part of the show, really had some good things to say about the contestants and was blown away by their superlative talent! Not only this, during the show, in a sweet moment, she will be seen revealing how she adores the host of the show, Aditya Narayan. She shares, “Saare hi judges kaafi capable hain, smart hain, and ache insaan hai. Par main Aditya ki khaas fan hoon.”
Talking about her experience being on the show, she shares, “I have been an ardent fan of Indian Idol since the start. Today, it felt very special not because I was the guest, but because it is the first time, I am facing the camera in India after almost a gap of 27 years. I am excited that I got this opportunity with Indian Idol Season 13. To be honest, when I was on the set, I was a little nervous but towards the end it felt like home.”
Talking about the contestants, she adds, “Each one is better than the other. They are all so talented and totally in sur, singing beautifully. It feels like having a feast of great voices all in one package delivered from nook and cranny of the country and within a span of one hour.”
