Rishabh Chaturvedi became a household name with his great performances in singing reality shows like ‘Indian Idol 11′ and India’s Got Talent 9’. He once again got a big opportunity to impress the listeners through his singing but this time on a national and prestigious stage and that too Live.
During the opening ceremony of ‘Khelo India’ held in Indradhanush Auditorium in Haryana’s Pankula, Rishabh Chaturvedi sang his heart out and beautifully sung most of the popular hindi patriotic songs. While Rishabh was performing on stage, people were listening to him in rapt attention.
On the special occasion, Rishabh Chaturvedi presented a medley of popular patriotic songs. During his musical medley he sang ‘Aisa Desh Hai Mera’ from Veer Zaara, ‘Ae Watan Watan Aabaad Rahe Tu’ from Raazi, ‘Mere Desh Ki Dharti’ from Upkaar, ‘Sabse Aage Honge Hindustani from’ Dus, title song ‘Chak De India’ from Chak De India, ‘Teri Mitti Mein Mar Jaawan’ from Kesari, ‘Jai Ho’ from Slumdog Millionaire and ‘Maa Tujhe Salaam’ from Vande Mataram. Needless to say, that Rishabh Chaturvedi mesmerized the crowd with his electrifying performance.
While Rishabh Chaturvedi was performing in the opening ceremony of ‘Khelo India’ held in Haryana’s Pankula, special dignitaries like Home Minister Amit Shah, Chief Minister of Haryana Manohar Lal Khattar, Governor of Haryana Bandaru Dattatray, Sports and Youth Affair Minister of India Anurag Thakur were all there in attendance. Few eminent film personalities from Bollywood also made their presence felt during the opening ceremony of ‘Khelo India’.
After getting the opportunity to showcase his talent in such a prestigious event, Rishabh Chaturvedi happily said, “While performing at the prestigious stage of ‘Khelo India’, I really felt great. Performing in front of thousands of people was one of the greatest moment of my life. Apart from all the dignitaries, our Home Minister Amit Shah too was also sitting in the audience and listening to my songs. I always dreamt of performing Live in front of thousands of people. And finally, my dream came true and I got the opportunity to perform at one of the greatest sports event of our country.”
Rishabh, who belongs to Amritsar in Punjab, was inclined towards singing since childhood itself. Rishabh says, “Through my musical performance the unbelievable journey of India’s success as a country was beautifully depicted. From initial destruction to now flying rockets, India’s development and strength was beautifully showcased through my medley of songs.”
Rishabh was first noticed for his singing when he participated in the singing reality show ‘Voice of India’. Later he became household name when he got the opportunity to participate in ‘Indian Idol 11’ and ‘India’s Got Talent 9’. Rishabh further says, “When I started singing ‘Vande Mataram’ on stage, thousands of people listening to me over there also started singing along with me. I can’t express what all was going in my mind at that point of time. I can just say that it really gave me goosebumps.”
