With the entry of the new on-screen couple – Sidharth Shukla and Sonia Rathee in ALTBalaji’s most loved and popular franchise ‘Broken But Beautiful 3’, the audience has been eagerly anticipating to know what happens in the third season streaming on the ALTBalaji platform! All the mesmerizing tracks, including ‘Tere Naal’, ‘Mere Liye’ and ‘Kya Kiya Hai Tune’, have resonated well with the audience, especially those who enjoy listening to meaningful lyrics too.
As the audience waits for the show, they are bestowed upon with a one-of-a-kind YouTube premiere ‘Broken Unplugged’ – a musical rendezvous with the multi-talented composers and singers – Amaal Mallik and Akhil Sachdeva of ALTBalaji’s ‘Broken But Beautiful 3’. This YouTube special was anchored by Mihir Joshi, who is also the host of a popular YouTube talk show called ‘The MJ Show’.
The intriguing and exciting musical journey started with the host introducing the music maestros credited for the musical success of the show. The audience was presented with a magical musical performance of the show’s mesmerizing covers performed by Akhil and Amaal. The composer-singer duo enjoys humongous popularity on social media and YouTube. Needless to say, their ardent fans were astounded with their renditions of the popular songs (final names to be added) from ‘Broken But Beautiful 3’.
The YouTube premiere also featured an engaging conversation with Akhil and Amaal as they spoke extensively about their respective journey behind creating the musical gems.
The multi-talented Amaal Mallik said, “Working with ALTBalaji is a monumental feeling. There is a bit of a Kabir Singh connection as well for this association with some of the crew getting together again after the movie. Armaan and I debuted in the webspace with Broken But Beautiful 2. For season 3, the director initially called me as she wanted a song that was about rekindling romance. Virag, the one who wrote the song, is my guardian angel, he knows me inside out. It was a fabulous experience.”
Akhil Sachdeva adds, “The makers came to me and said they need a love song. The entire team got together on virtual calls to make the songs as we are in different cities. I used to spend 6-8 hours on Zoom while the song was being made. ‘Tere Naal’ is a blockbuster with a different feel and in a way a declaration of love. ‘Mere Liye’ is very unique and, I have a lot of emotions attached to it. The makers wanted a breakout song. The day I started making this, my sister passed away, so there are multiple emotions behind this track. It’s a tribute to her.”
