Bhamla Foundation, an organisation working to address health, environment and cleanliness issues, and Hungama Digital Media Entertainment Pvt Ltd, India’s leading digital entertainment company, are announcing a new musical anthem titled ‘Only One Earth’ on May 26th 2022 to celebrate World Environment Day on June 5th 2022. Composed by renowned Bollywood singer Shaan and written by lyricist Swanand Kirkire, the anthem encourages a harmonious association with nature through sustainable lifestyle. The campaign is supported by the United Nations Environment Programme, the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and dignitaries across politics, environment, and entertainment. The song is currently streaming on Hungama Music, Bollywood Hungama, and other affiliate and partner platforms of Hungama.
The song will be presented at the press conference attended by B Praak, Salim Merchant, Shaan, Swanand Kirkire, Tulsi Kumar, Ahmed Khan, Warda Nadiadwala, Ananya Birla, Asif Bhamla – Chairman of Bhamla Foundation, and Neeraj Roy – Managing Director of Hungama Digital Media. Bharat Ratna awardee and cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar is the brand ambassador of this campaign.
Bhamla Foundation has been creating impactful global campaigns and songs since 2018 with huge support from music labels such as T-Series, Universal, Sony and others. Over the years, eminent Bollywood personalities such as Dia Mirza, Kapil Sharma, Manish Paul, Vicky Kaushal, Shiamak Davar and others have supported the campaigns, with the songs receiving 300 Million+ views across all platforms of Hungama. Involving participation of more than 150 countries, the Only One Earth global campaign was launched by Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce and Industry, at Expo 2020 Dubai.

Lyricist Swanand Kirkire said, “One can’t emphasise the need to think for our environment and act on it, thanks to global warming. Time and again, I have been fortunate to share my concerns for the world through songs I’ve written for the foundation. ‘Only One Earth’ binds countless people to the united resolve of saving our planet, and I hope that the song inspires people to peacefully cohabit with nature.”
