On Friday, the popular anthology franchise Hai Taubba announced the third chapter of the series. And since then, the loyal fans of the franchise have lost their calm. To add to the craze, ALTBalaji has now dropped the first trailer of Hai Taubba 3. Yes, you read that right. The theme of the anthology this year is about women who didn’t give up on their lives. The trailer starts by introducing us to the four female protagonists of four different stories. These women are seen unbashdely challenging the social taboos that not many talk about. The trailer gives us a glimpse of how these strong women take the onus of breaking the barriers and slaying social norms.

Chapter 3 is about women breaking societal taboos. Women this time will walk out of their boring married lives, challenge the status quo, explore their individuality. While these stories may be edgy for others, one cannot deny that life isn’t perfect at the end of the day, and our imperfect lives reflect that. While the trailer goes on, one can’t ignore the exciting background track that runs parallel. Especially the Meow is a scene-stealer! “Jaane se pehle ek karz ada karke jaaye,” is how the trailer ends which reminds us that before we leave, we just hit the like button for such a beautiful trailer.

Earlier in the day, the makers also dropped the poster of the series. In the poster that has been dropped, we see four portraits of four different stories. There’s the closeness between two women, a woman with a tigress’ mouth, two women – out of which one being specially-abled looking together and lastly a woman with a pet in her hand. The graphical poster is indeed eye-catching.
Makers captioned the poster by writing “Sharam ko maaro goli, aur apne haq ki sajao doli” With the trailer and poster, one thing that we can make out from it is the fact that the makers are all up for women’s empowerment.
Love knows no boundaries, it transcends age, gender, and everything in between. With ‘Hai Taubba’ the makers are talking about how society reacts to the issues that we don’t talk about but are deeply ingrained in our lives. Taking a cue from the infamous saying, “Kuch toh log kahenge, logo ka kaam hai kehna” which essentially means that people will have something or the other to say, no matter what.
